MY BOGA WE LOVE YOU

I came across this awesome crochet boga pattern from Eliott on tumblr and knew i had to make it.
I also used Laryssa's excellent work as a reference. Video Here

I am not very good at keeping count of my stitches so I often struggle to follow patterns. I definitely messed up a bit here and there, but luckily this pattern was pretty forgiving.

For the tiny Obi-wan I adapted this pattern by Ankita from ToyGurumi on YouTube. I had previously made this pattern in its full size and used my superpower of guesstimation to make a mini version. Really wish i had written it down LOL. He has wire in his arms and legs so he is somewhat posable.

  • Acrylic yarn size 4 - Medium/Worsted
    • Body: Crafter's Secret Big Idea - 31 I'm Jealous
    • Beak: Loops and Threads Impeccable - Gold
    • Crest and Tail Feathers: Loops and Threads Soft Classic - Lotus Blossom
    • Saddle and Obi-Wan's Boots: CraftSmart Value - Dark Chocolate
      • (btw this has since been rebranded as Loops & Threads Soft Classic)
    • Face and Hands: Lion Brand Skein Tones - Peachy
    • Hair: Lion Brand Skein Tones - Mahogany
    • Top: Loops and Threads Impeccable - Aran
    • Legs: Loops and Threads Impeccable - Heather
  • Crochet Hook Size 2.75mm
  • Yarn Needle
  • Safety eyes
  • Poly-fil
  • Beans (to fill feet)
  • Wire (to support legs and neck)
